The graduation panoramic pictures will be for sale on Thursday in the commons area starting at 9:15am. If you miss this chance to purchase your pictures, they will be for sale again at graduation practice on Friday. Don’t miss out on this wonderful keepsake!
Attention Career Center Students-
On Wednesday, if you are an all-day or afternoon Career Center student, you will need to meet in the big gym balcony area when school starts at 8:40am. A bus will come to campus around 9:55am that day to take you to the Career Center for your afternoon classes.
We will have our senior graduation panoramic picture on Wednesday, June 4, at 8:30am on the band practice field. All seniors need to report in their cap and gown ready for the picture. You also must have your school ID on to verify your grade level. If you will need a ride to CTC or the Career Center after the picture, a bus will be provided. Any questions, stop by Student Activities!
Do you have English at the Career Center or Temple College? If so, you have missed a handout about taking senior pictures this summer. Stop by student activities or the front office to pick up a flyer about taking your yearbook picture this summer. It is free to be in the yearbook. Call 1-800-811-2306 to set an appointment for your senior pictures. Prestige portraits will be on campus July 28th-July 30th only. If you cannot be here, call for a different date and time in Round Rock.
Students, a few reminders for the last week of school:
*No student backpacks will be permitted on campus.
*All students will enter building in the morning through search station at the student entrance.
*For students, no purses larger than size of tissue box permitted.
*Dismissal on last day, June 5, will be by announcement by section of the building,
not by bell.
Campus-wide Locker Clean-Out will be held this Friday, May 30th, during 5th period. An announcement will be made for the locker clean out, and students will have 15 minutes to clean out their lockers, then return to class. Any students who uncover textbooks in their lockers are responsible for taking those textbooks to Mr. Meyer at the Textbook Office on their own. Also, if you need your lock cut, please see the front office as soon as possible for them to go ahead and take care of it prior to the locker clean-out.
For students going on the trip to England, Ireland and Paris in July, there is a mandatory meeting this Thursday in the library at 6:00. You MUST ATTEND THIS MEETING OR YOU WILL MISS VITAL INFORMATION REGARDING YOUR TRIP. Please see Ms. Cherizard in Room 323 if you have questions. AGAIN, the meeting for the England, Ireland Paris trip is THIS THURSDAY at 6:00 in the library. BE THERE.
Any student who is absent for a semester exam will be assigned a grade of “Incomplete” for the semester, and will be given the opportunity to take the missed exam(s) on campus, with Sonia Calvillo, during the first two weeks after the last day of school. After that window has passed, any remaining “Incomplete” grades will be recalculated, with a grade of zero for the semester exam. Please keep in mind that the campus will be open only Monday - Thursday during the summer, and students need to arrive before 12:30 pm in order to begin any exams that day. Students coming in to make up exams will check in at the front office.
Students, this is it. Blood Wars is here where we compete against the other high school on seeing who can donate the most blood. Tell your parents, tell your teachers, tell your friends who are 17 years of age and older that if they weigh at least 110 pounds, have not had any tattoos or piercings in the past year, not travelled out of the country in the past year, that they need to help save lives! We cannot lose this war again. We must live up to the challenge and win this battle against the other high schools. Let’s show that Ellison has what it takes to help in our community. Sign-up to donate blood Tuesday and Wednesday during both lunches in the commons area. Go Eagles!
