The EHS Boys and Girls Club is looking to make a difference and are collecting men’s hygiene products like deodorant, soap, body wash, toothpaste, and more. There are boxes set up at each entrance of the school, in student activities office, and in Ms. McCarty’s Room (301). All items collected benefit our local community. This is part of the national Make A Difference Day campaign. Please bring in items by Friday, October 24th. Thanks for your support.

Attention YA bibliophiles! This is a friendly reminder from the EHS Librarians to make sure and turn in your permission forms for the Texas Teen Book Festival by October 15th. This Austin event promises to be filled with outstanding award-winning authors and others who enjoy reading. Stop by the library to turn in those forms and ask any questions you might have about Saturday’s exciting event.
"Attention all students and teachers! Did you know that here are more than 100 types of cancers? And not only is it just Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but there is an "ALL-Cancer Awareness" Senior Project going on at the Killeen Career Center Salon. Come and show your support by getting either a manicure for $5.00 or a pedicure for $10.00! All donations are going to the Prevent Cancer Foundation. The event is every Tuesday of October from 5:00-7:00pm at the Career Center Salon."
